These ActiveX controls can be used and distributed without cost. Obviously, they're not supported, but are being used successfully by thousands of developers!

EZFTP is probably the simplest FTP control to use! You can get or put a file via FTP with only six lines of code!

High speed UU encoding and decoding ActiveX control. No documentation, but come on! Set InputFile and OutputFile, then use the Encode or Decode methods. The Progress event fires for every one percent (or so) of the UU process, allowing you to update a progress indicator.

Shareware ActiveX Controls
