ActiveZTERM Download Steps

Clicking on the link below will automatically install ActiveZTERM Beta 4 onto your system. In order for this to happen, you need to have the following installed:

• Microsoft Windows 95 or Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02 (see below) or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or later
• ZTERM for Windows 1.2.110 (no other versions are suitable)

After the download has completed, you will see a dialog that looks like:

After you click Yes, ActiveZTERM will install and then launch itself inside Internet Explorer. If you're interested in how to host ActiveZTERM inside IE, simply take a look at the HTML souce on the next page which contains JavaScript code to control the operation of ActiveZTERM.

Special note. Internet Explorer 3.02 has a bug that causes scripts to execute at the wrong time when first installing new ActiveX controls. After the download of ActiveZTERM is completed, press the Reload button and then, ActiveZTERM will operate correctly.
