Clean up your paper trail with PhotoFile! PhotoFile turns the paperwork associated with running your business into digital data that's associated with the data stored on the host computer you already connect to using ZTERM 2000 terminal emulation. Your software developers make some simple changes to your host-based application, PhotoFile can store, retrieve and print scanned images and photographs and associate them with records stored your databases on the host.

PhotoFile supports:
PhotoFile is licensed both for the number of images stored in the system and for each system that will access the PhotoFile database. Each copy of PhotoFile requires either a USB or parallel-port security key plugged into the system at all times. The security key provides copy protection for PhotoFile and also sets the licensing level for PhotoFile on the system. Licensing levels are:
| Level | Functions |
| Display | Display documents stored in the PhotoFile libraries. |
| All above plus the ability to print documents | |
| Scan | All above plus the ability to scan documents |
| Configure | All above plus the ability to create and expand PhotoFile libraries. |
The Configure licensing level allows the addition of libraries up to the maximum purchased. Each library holds 62,500 documents with up to 255 pages per document. There is no developer's kit for PhotoFile - anyone may write code for PhotoFile, but a dongle is required for development purposes.
For example, if you wanted to be able to store 140,000 documents in the system using two scan stations and display on ten PCs, you'd need the following dongles:
There is no free version for evaluation purposes since we must license the imaging toolkit we used to build PhotoFile on a system by system basis. If you're an application developer and wish to evaluate PhotoFile before you purchase the runtime dongles, please contact us.
Please follow this link for the developer's documentation. We also have a PhotoFile Walkthrough for developers that are working with PhotoFile for the first time.
